SureStay by Best Western Helen Downtown

Took my young daughter for her first visit in Helen. This hotel had everything you need for a quick trip like this. Keir was amazing along with the rest of the staff!! Pool heater went out but mechanical issues can happen anywhere. Will be back 100%

This hotel is absolutely phenomenal! We were able to park the day of arrival and walk to most attractions so we saved a ton on parking and dodged the traffic in Downtown. It is close to everything! The room was clean and service was friendly. We had a downstairs room and we could literally see our car from the window. Great if you have little kids and gotta go back and forth for stuff (which we do). If we ever came back to Helen, we’d stay here again for sure!

We stayed here one night while visiting Helen and are so happy with our decision. It’s in a great location, within very close walking distance of everything you want to see in Helen, but not right in the center of the craziness, so it’s quieter. Ireland was amazing at check-in. Our room wasn’t quite ready when we stopped by early around noon, but she made sure we knew our room was assigned on our requested first floor, and she gave us our parking pass so we could park and go enjoy the town. She recommended we eat at Bodensee which was a 10/10 recommendation - it was right around the corner, we had a blast, and the food was delicious. For dessert she recommended Hansel and Gretel which was also amazing. The room was spotless and had everything we needed. The breakfast was officially a continental breakfast, but they had breakfast sandwiches you could microwave, hot chocolate packets, hardboiled eggs for extra protein, and oatmeal/grits packets, so we left stuffed and warmed up for the day. Excellent stay and we’ll be back next time we visit Helen.

This hotel is in a great location in Helen, Georgia. But really poor in other areas. We arrived, we wanted to get ice, but we had no ice bucket in the room, and we finally got one. Then we wanted to wash in the sink, and we had no towels. I went back to the office, and the cleaning lady wanted to see for herself, she seemednot to believe me, and sure enough, no towels. They apologized for the error. The breakfast bar was lacking with a normal BW breakfast; breakfast was Jimmy Dean biscuits, dried cereal, juices, coffee, and a very continental style. 4 $$$

Excellent stay in Helen! Only gave 4 stars on the room because some fixtures are dated, but the rooms were very clean and beds were very comfortable! Staff was great and the breakfast, though just a continental breakfast without hot food, was nice with quite a few options. Short walk to downtown and tons of restaurants!

If you're staying for a day or two, this is a good choice! No elevator, make sure to pack light! 10 minutes walk to our favorite Brick house Pizza place! We stayed at Room 202, King size bed, clean room and the whirlpool looks new and clean! Pretty convenient to walk on the street as they have a cute bridge on 2nd flr!

The hotel is in a great location. It is a short walking distance to all the shops. At night you can go out on the walkway from room 203 and look at all the lights and enjoy the view.

We stayed here overnight to enjoy downtown Helen. This place is a perfect location within walking distance to the town. Rooms were very clean, but the floor could have been mopped better as there was some dirt left behind (not a big deal for us because we had socks on) Front desk staff were very friendly. The included breakfast wasn’t “hot served” breakfast but they had many options to heat up in the microwave like oatmeal, grits, and breakfast sandwiches. They also had a toaster and jams available with various bagel and toast options including waffles. Cereal, yogurt, Hot tea, coffee, and juice was also provided. Overall a great value and relaxing stay for our couples trip. We will definitely be back!
